Liability Waiver & Terms
Every participant signs this waiver digitally when joining — including your full name, date of birth, address, and an emergency contact. You can also download the official waiver form (PDF).
1. Release of Liability
In consideration of the acceptance of my application as a participant to Golden Hill Boxing Club I hereby agree to assume all risks attendant upon myself while participating in any activities at Golden Hill Boxing Club. I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for death, personal injury, or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter accrue to me as a result of my participation in Golden Hill Boxing Club. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless from liability Golden Hill Boxing Club and/or any of their agents, volunteers, or employees by reason of any accident, death, injury, or damages, to persons or property which I may suffer while participating in fitness activities. This release is intended to discharge in advance Golden Hill Boxing Club and any of its agents or employees by any reason of any accident, death, injury, or damages to persons or property which I may suffer, from and against any an all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation at Golden Hill Boxing Club.
It is further understood and agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risk to be binding on my heirs and assigns of me. I agree to assume all responsibilities for any property damage or injury to any person caused by me while participating in activities at Golden Hill Boxing Club. I have read, and understand this release of liability form.
Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian's signature. By signing, the parent or guardian agrees to the release of liability on the participant's behalf.
2. Membership Terms
The monthly membership is month-to-month with no contract and no minimum term, and includes every class plus open gym.
Prepaid 6- and 12-month memberships are a single payment covering their stated period. They do not renew automatically.
The $25 first class is a one-time drop-in, limited to one per person. It starts no membership and nothing recurring.
3. Automatic Renewal
The monthly membership renews automatically. You are charged $99 for your first month, then $125 per month to the card on file on the same day each month, continuing until you cancel. You agree to this at checkout before any payment is taken.
How to cancel: call (619)-316-6881 or email goldenhillboxingclub@gmail.com. Cancelling stops future charges; your membership stays active through the end of the month you have already paid for, and that final month is not refunded.
If the monthly price ever changes, we will tell you before the new price is charged.
4. Media
Classes may occasionally be photographed or filmed for the club's social media. Tell a coach if you'd prefer not to appear.
